A CLEARER BLUETOOTH PICTURE
Bluetooth can describe devices in different states. BatteryPulse helps keep “connected” separate from “detected nearby” so the status is easier to understand.
BatteryPulse lists Bluetooth devices Windows currently reports as connected. Pairing history alone is not treated as a live connection.
Windows connection stateRun a short Bluetooth Low Energy scan to detect devices actively advertising nearby. A scan does not pair with a device or connect to it.
Nearby is not connectedUnsupported or unverified battery data stays unavailable. BatteryPulse does not estimate a percentage or show sample values as if they were yours.
No invented battery readingsONE PLATFORM. CLEAR EXPECTATIONS.
BatteryPulse currently supports one platform: Windows desktop. Bluetooth connected-device listing and nearby BLE scanning are built for Windows. Other operating systems do not have BatteryPulse Bluetooth support in this release.

Use BatteryPulse when you want a focused view of what Windows reports, without confusing nearby radio signals for a working connection.
A device advertising nearby is not automatically paired, connected, or ready to use. BatteryPulse keeps the two views distinct.
A zero battery value should mean an empty battery. If an accessory reading is not verified, it stays unavailable—not invented.
Your profile and saved app data stay on your device. BatteryPulse has no account, registration, backend, cloud service, or telemetry.
Connected, connected with battery unavailable, unsupported, and permission-required are different states—not one misleading status.
A SIMPLE WORKFLOW
BatteryPulse is a Windows desktop companion. Bluetooth hardware and Windows permissions affect what the app can see.
Review the devices that Windows currently reports as connected; a paired device may not be actively connected.
Run a short scan for active BLE advertisements. It does not pair or connect, and the scan still needs physical-hardware verification.
If battery information is missing or unsupported, it remains unavailable. Background monitoring and alerts are not active.
