Check Windows Bluetooth settings
Open Settings, select Bluetooth & devices, then open Devices. If Windows receives a battery level in a format it supports for your accessory, the level may appear with that device. The exact presentation depends on your Windows version, accessory, Bluetooth adapter, and drivers.
If no battery level appears
Confirm the accessory is connected and consult its manufacturer for Windows battery-reporting support. Some devices do not expose a battery level to Windows, and others use a reporting method Windows may not display. Updating Windows, the Bluetooth driver, or accessory firmware may help when an update is available, but cannot add reporting support that the device does not provide.
A missing value means Windows has no reading to show; it does not mean the battery is empty. Do not treat a connection or nearby scan result as a battery measurement.
What BatteryPulse can show
BatteryPulse displays devices Windows reports as connected and can scan separately for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy advertisements. The current release has no verified accessory battery-reading source, so it does not show or estimate battery percentages. See Windows Bluetooth compatibility and the BatteryPulse FAQ for current product limits.
Keep the states separate
Paired means Windows has saved the device association. Connected means Windows currently reports an active connection. Nearby means a scanner received an advertisement. None of these states alone confirms a battery percentage. Read how paired, connected, and nearby states differ.
